2018 Fort Worth Invitational, Colonial Country Club, Fort Worth, Texas, Thurs May 24th - Sunday May 27th

Brooks Koepka

This weeks Fort Worth Invitational sees Brooks Koepka back from injury (seemingly fine). He must be chomping at the bit to contend at a tournament before he defends his US Open title in June. At 28/1 its a bit of a skinny price, but he did finish 11th at the recent Players Championship, so maybe the bookies see it the same way I do.

If not, then these are my other fancies

Chesson-Hadley.jpg

Chesson Hadley

Chesson Hadley has rarely disappointed this season, turning in good finishes and a number of low scores. Maybe he has been too close too often this year without winning, (which might cause a reversal of form) but I will pick him this week at 50/1.

J J Spaun

At 125/1 JJ Spaun is an outsider, but he finished T3rd last week at The AT & T. I dont normally like following the previous weeks form normally but the price is generous and has swayed me to pick him.

Xander Schauffele

Xander Schaufflete must be frustrated by his form this year, but is due to come good soon. Maybe that will be this week. He is 50/1, and T2 at the Players recently which might indicate an upturn.

My performance last week.

Now that was much better, my first pick Keith Mitchell T3 at 80/1 and I also got Jimmy Walker who came in T6. No fortunes to be made here but a bit of encouragement as I beat the pro's.

This is what the pro's think this week......updated Wed 24th May
