About
Bellerive Country Club began in 1897 in north St. Louis as a nine-hole course with 166 members, and was known as the St. Louis Field Club.
Course Description
Led by Hord Hardin and Clark Gamble, the membership decided to move west in 1955, and allowed renowned architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. to pick a prime farm location for the new site. The “Green Monster of Ladue Road” opened on Memorial Day, 1960.....read everything there is to know about the course here!
Justin Rose pulled out of last weeks WGC Bridgestone with a back injury. As long as its not troubling him too much this week, he should feature near the top of the leaderboard come Sunday. At 22/1 he just cant be ignored.
If not Justin Rose this week, these players should go well.
Tommy Fleetwood PGA Tour stats....click the pic
I was cheering Tommy Fleetwood on last week. After the 2nd round of the WGC Bridgestone, when he was at the top of the leaderboard..... but unfortunately he fell away and finished T14. 5 good tournaments on the trot, might mean he has hit the 'high point' of this peak already. ....but my hope is, that he still has enough fuel left in the tank for a charge this week. So I'll still keep faith with him 28/1.
Ian Poulter PGA Tour stats....Click the pic
This might be a bit of a sentimental pick on my part this week, but there is also some sound sense to support him. Ian Poulter is in the form of his life and so at 100/1 I have to have him in my top 5.
Kyle Stanley PGA Tour stats....click the pic
Kyle Stanley poses a bit of a problem. I normally like really decent putters. My thinking is that if they get hot with that flatstick, they will shoot low. Stanley isn't that great on the greens, but when his ball striking is really on he is to be reckoned with at any tournament. Last week was a great week for him, and I am going to pick him again this week at 100/1, thats a juicy price.
Marc Leishman PGA Tour stats....click the pic
My timing has been rotten this year with Marc Leishman. When I've picked him he has had a blow out.......but he is real class, and when he is near the top of his form he cant be ignored. This week he is 55/1.

Performance last week
Last week I managed 2 top 10's with Brookes Koepka 30/1 & Patrick Cantlay 60/1.....my top 20 picks were pants, back to the drawing board. Elsewhere and by far the best was Ben Coley. He picked the winner Justin Thomas AND 2nd place Kyle Stanley.
